We want to ensure that you can keep on playing with your old save games regardless of any new Updates. We have already added beta branches on Steam & GOG for all of the major Updates so that you are able to switch to an older version of Good Company at any time.
----
On Steam you can access the branches in the game properties under "Betas". Just select the version of the save game you want to load.

On GOG Galaxy you can access the branches in the Configuration of Good Company's installation. It is called "Beta Channels" there and will contain all the major Versions.

For the Epic Games Store we unfortunately don't have the ability to switch to previous versions, so you won't be able to load old save games there.
----
The branches look like this:

NONE/Latest -> Latest Stable Version

_latest_beta -> Latest Stable Beta Version

v0.6 -> permanent branch for v0.6

v0.7 -> permanent branch for v0.7

...

Permanent branches will be added as soon as a new version is available. If you want to stick to a specific version, you can select a fixed branch (for more details see FAQ below).
