I feel like what should be on the main page are some overviews at first:
- Game Modes (Freeplay, Challenges, Levels)
- Items & Products
- Equipment
- Content
- Features
And then building up from there.

I think the Item Categories section would be better in the 'Available Pages' section, and could perhaps be added as a 'button bar' on every item page
